New ferry line connecting St Petersburg, Germany and Poland to begin operating in 2015
St Petersburg officials say that direct ferry line to Germany and Poland is planned to be launched in 2015. Ferries are to set sail between St Petersburg (Russia), Gdansk (Poland) and Kiel (Germany). It will be a regular ferry link — about 2 to 4 trips per week.
The main reason for new ferry line to be a success is a law that allows ferry and cruise passengers to go ashore in St. Petersburg VISA-FREE for the period of not longer that 72 hours.
Currently there's a ferry line between St.Petersburg and Helsinki and Stockholm operated by St. Peter Line.

So go ahead and hop on one of those ferries - we'll take care of the rest for your visa-free St Petersburg City Tours
